Austin Area Neighborhood Overview
Austin is Chicago’s second-largest community area by both population and land area. Its borders are approximately Cicero Avenue, Roosevelt Road, Harlem Avenue, and North Avenue.
Austin is home to well-known businesses such as the Chicago Studio City Film Studio and Shriner’s Hospital. The neighborhood is also home to 13 Federal and Chicago landmark properties.
Public transit
It is serviced by the Milwaukee District West Line which has two stops there, the Marks and Galewood Stations.
