Ukrainian Village Neighborhood Overview

The Ukranian Village is located on the Near West Side of Chicago. Its boundaries are Division Street, Grand Avenue, Western Avenue, and Damen Avenue. It hosts one of the largest concentrations of Ukrainians in the United States and functions as its hub with three major Ukrainian churches, Ukranian-owned financial institutions, a Ukranian-language grammar school, the Ukranian National Museum, Cultural Center, and Institute of Modern Art, and many Ukranian-owned restaurants, stores, and businesses.
